My sister called me with some rather bad news last week. My father had suffered a stroke, his 2nd since 2011. Anyhow, I hopped on an overnight flight which sucked. I got to Washington Dulles following morning around 6am. Saw father and had hard time seeing him in his condition. Couldn't barely speak. His entire right side of his body was paralyzed. He had a grimace from the palsy which made him look sad and in main. I staid for a week and he was finally able to start gaining some use of his hands to a point he could eat (somewhat). Still has a way to go. Flew home and just broke down crying a couple days ago. I hope and pray he gets better.
