#1 DUAL NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP.
Yes these are my passports. Aside from acting like your a spy or Jason Bourne, they will provide infinite options for hopping around the globe. Just remember to choose one or the other before you get to the immigration checkpoint.
#2. ALUMINIUM (ALUMINIUM FOR YOU BRITS) RIMOWA ROLL ABOARD SUITCASE.
The more dents and dings the better. Anything larger and you have over packed for you trip. I have mastered the art of packing and so should you. Remember, you can always buy what you may have forgotten at your destination.
#3 FIRST CLASS TICKETS FOR ANY JOURNEY OVER 5 HOURS, BUSINESS CLASS FOR ANYTHING LESS.
Economy or Coach is not an option unless you are a masochist. Never pay full price unless you have a sugar daddy/momma. I use my frequent flier miles and points for international travel. I use my Japan Airlines frequent flyer number to collect miles when flying on a OneWorld carrier and my ANA Al Nippon Airways account when flying on a Star Alliance carrier. It is infinitely easier to redeem miles from JAL or ANA as they don't block seats like the American carriers do.
