So I had a shoot in London today with a guy called Josh Halling. Hes a ridiculously talented 35mm film photographer and mostly works with bands such as Deaf Havana, Enter Shikari, Futures etc. We have quite a few mutual friends but hadnt actually met until today.
It was really relaxed and laid back, I hate it when shoots are stressful! It was a bit different to what Im used to as I couldnt see the images after so I couldnt critique myself. Critique? Is that the right word? Is that a word? Ha!
As Im travelling back home now, looking back at my day, Ive realised how cool its been. Like one of us could have not shown up today, we were strangers to each other but we already had to put our trust in each other if that makes sense?
Basically I travelled to London to hang out with a stranger for the day haha, of course there was some level of professionalism to it but its still weird to see it that way. I guess It makes me realise how people can be so consumed by their daily routine, living in their bubble and not really doing anything out of their comfort zone.
I just think it always pays off, one way or another.
