so im currently catching up on Spartacus the series,
n well it looks too me a lil too much like 300, too many slow motion scenes :/

i think Rome is a WAY batter show regardless that there isn't
as much brute action...it captures the essence of the true rome best...
Nudity in HBO is completely normal now days
so if you decide t check it prepare
for some Roman culture ooo aaabiggrin

Thank you. I saw 300 with this insane fever and a half hour deep felt that it was the most excruciatingly boring film ever made. I get back to work the following Monday and it's a collective nerd circle jerk of praise throughout the office. Then I start to question if maybe it was just me. I go back and see this thing again, thinking maybe I missed something. Nope, still a 3 hour cinematography demo reel mired in Bush-era politics, that somehow made me yawn during an orgy scene.

The price tag to get me to see this pile of garbage a 3rd time:

$1,000.00, sushi dinner, eye-clips, water drops, validated parking, and a free Zuuuune. (bughghgh)

I liked Rome, didn't love it, but could appreciate their attempts to recreate things down to such meticulous detail.

Final Score:
Rome = 6 surreal
300 = -300 mad
