nothing exciting really happened this week. i'm applying for a job with a record label in baltimore. i if i hear anything back about it, i'll write more, but i'm trying not to get my hopes up, ya know?
so i finally went on a date with "that girl" and it was actually fun. she's not as conservative/snobby/ditzy as i thought she might be. she definetly acts sort of that way around all her other W&M friends, but she was really cool when we went out. we talked about sexism/homophobia/racism, tattoo's, liberal politics, being happy with your job vs. getting lots of money and hating it, and lots of other stuff and we had really similar views on most of it, which is cool, and she had intelligent reasons backing up all her opinions which is even cooler. i hate it when people have blind opinions on stuff. anyway, she went to the beach for the weekend with her W&M friends, so i'm supposed to call her next week for another "date." its wierd how guys and girls can't just "hang out" one-on-one here. its a "date" then. whatever, its all semantics. and besides, at least i can say i dated a W&M sorority chick (for better or for worse).
