so i started reading "The Tao of Pooh" last night. now, silly as that sounds, its a great book and my response to everything i've learned about Taoism so far has been "HOLY SHIT, I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!!" not to imply that i'm some great eastern-philosopher incarnate, but for the first time in my life a religion/philosophy/way-of-life is making sense. it talks about how good things come from simplicity and how there is more to life than what modern society steers us towards.
on a sour note, my sisters cat (who doesn't live with my sister, ironically. it lives with me) shit in the computer room today. man, that sucked because of course i was the only one home so i had to clean it up and that's just nasty. i mean, why can't my good-for-nothing sister take care of her own damn cat?!!

I'm glad someone else is irritated by the rick james thing. I think it's stupid but everyone else seems to think it's brilliant. Whatever. As if any of them know who rick james is.
