ahh. another update. so its saturday before thanksgiving and break just started. wooooo! i'm staying in blacksburg for as much of the break as i can. i'm trying to convince Susan (my mom) to come up here for thanksgiving. i think it'd be pretty fun. we'd eat turkey and get smashed and watch football and it'd be fucking awesome. anyone want to join us? ......so i'm bird-sitting for a friend this weekend. he's a parakeet named "winston." he's pretty cool, although i tried to pet/hold him and he freaked and started flying around his little cage so then i freaked and couldn't get my arm out of the cage fast enough and it got stuck and i ended up pulling the cage off of the table and spilled his water and food all over me. but don't worry. me and winston had a talk and everything's cool now. i played him some Whiskeytown and he calmed down. we're on a nick-name basis now. i call him "bird" and he calls me "chiiiiirp" and its worked out so far. i am such a nerd. okay, my bottle of Sailor Jerry's Rum is calling me. ONE.
