I do apologize for being absent most of the past year and a half. As I said earlier, it has been a very hectic time in my life - a good hectic though. It's kind of hard getting back into the swing of things online, but I am trying. So let me give you a brief summary of whats been going on.
Kelli and I purchased a house together last March. We bought a beautiful brownstone in the Center Square area of Albany. It's been a lot of work, but it is taking shape. We have 3 floors and 5 bedrooms to furnish, so a lot of it looks bare right now. We are taking our time and trying to buy quality stuff to make it a home.
Then last Summer something happened in New York State. They legalized gay marriage!!! I was so happy, but a little unprepared for what happened next. Kelli proposed!!! I had always figured that it would be me doing the proposing, but she surprised the shit out of me. By the way, I did say yes.
Okay, it has been a while, so here is my first boobie break in over a year!
Cool! I remembered how to do it!!!
We got married at Borough Hall in Queens, NY on October 31, 2011. Yes, it was Halloween! Our reception was in Astoria, Queens at a nice little place called Jay Jay's on 31st Ave. We picked a place in between my family and hers. She is from Long Island and I am from The Bronx. I have to admit, my Nana was awesome! She is 85 and I thought she was going to freak out, but she was awesome. Kind of like having my very own Betty White!!!! lol
After the wedding we headed over to the West Village and participated in the Halloween Parade. We were both Painted Ladies! We honeymooned in the West Village for a week - which was awesome! All things being said, it has been an awesome ride.
Oh yeah, I got a new car too. I had to trade in my Corolla. It started making some noises that I wasn't comfortable with so I decided to get a new car. I definitely got my moneys worth with the Corolla. I put 285,000 miles on it. I now have a 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport! Yeah! Yeah! I know it's a dyke-mobile, but big whoop. I love it!
Second boobie break!!! My wife and I.
And now comes the part of my blog that I know no one has missed!!! yeppers!!! It's poem time! Now sit tight everyone while I torture you with one of my lame attempts at poetry!
Naked Sunday Morning
Naked Sunday Morning
Filtered Sunday light
Breaking through the window
Chase away the night
Gentle soft caresses
Whisper soft and low
Breezes lift the curtains
All the room aglow
Let me stay beside you
Till the sun goes down
Till a new tomorrow
Turns the day around
Lets explore the pleasures
Lets explore the ways
Sharing all the treasures
Spending endless days
Lets explore the feelings
Lets explore the view
Keep each other reeling
Make each other new
Lets explore each other
Lets explore the soul
Open and accepting
Make each other whole
Naked Sunday Morning
Filtered Sunday light
Gentle love is dawning
Hearts are taking flight
