Hey all,
How is everyone? It is an awesome weekend here! Finally! It was in the 80's yesterday, and we are supposed to have a repeat of that today. I definitely will be spending some time outdoors today. Maybe have a picnic in Washington Park. Considering how the weather has been lately, this feels like Summer. I think I need to start planning to take some outdoor photos soon.
I wanted to thank everyone for responding to my question from last week. I must admit, you guys have some awesome taste. I went and checked out the girls that you mentioned. You guys have very diverse tastes, which I think is awesome. So yeah, I played the little perv and checked out all of the naked ladies. Hey now! Stop being so judgmental! Isn't that why we all pay to be here? LMAO!
Oh yeah, I got that Barry Manilow CD that I ordered earlier this week. Friggin Sweet!!! I love him so much! I was singing all of his songs in my head this week. I was asked very kindly to not sing them out loud.
I'm not sure if that was because people don't like Barry, or they don't like my singing voice.
Oh well, not much else going on my way here. So let's take a short break.
Okay, I'm back. Break is over.
Oh screw it! Let's take another one! I'll be back in a bit, I need some coffee.
MMMM! Coffee! Okay, everyone settle down. Break is over. I need everyone to pay attention now. I have something very important to say.
Okay, now that you all are paying attention I have a reading assignment for everyone. Your assignment is to read my poetry below. Just a warning - there may be a pop quiz next week regarding these, so I highly recommend that you read them very carefully!
LOL, Well, anyways, if you do read them I really do hope that you enjoy them. Talk to you all next week! Kisses!
Ivory Tower
You've walled yourself up, my pretty
In your imaginary ivory tower
And you're waiting for someone to breach it
And steal you away with their power
But you've read too many nursery rhymes
And though you have let down your hair
I see there's still nobody coming,
To rescue the princess so fair
I bet the view, though is stunning
As your eyes scan the endless horizon
And who knows, perhaps one will turn up
A knight you can feast your keen eyes on
For me, I'm all done with the rescuing
I've retired my horse at the farm
I've hung up my spear and my armor
And now rest in my sweet lover's arms
How to Kiss
How to kiss?
She wants to know--too much!
Begging me for guidance
That must be conveyed without touch
Strictly verbal instruction on
An essentially sensual skill.
It might be absurd were she not
So earnest and strong-willed!
Or please, at least,
How NOT to kiss
--The slurping sounds
--The slobbering drool
--The tonsil-tickling lingual probe
--The airy, barely-touching fool
How might she avoid
The myriad permutations
Of kissing catastrophe
In her teenage explorations?
Must I really explain at all?
She wants to learn what she thinks she missed
But Im skeptical of her need to know
And yetthe opportunist
Very well.
Here are the simple secret truths:
--Do not unto your beloved
That which seems yucky to you
--Stay mindful and participate
Passivity is a mistake
--Brush often and thoroughly
Especially clean your gums
--Do not use profanity
It sours the sweetest tongue.
And remember, no matter how artful your skill,
No matter how well you may learn all of this,
Never put a cigarette or penis in your mouth.
These things will ever after destroy your precious kiss
