I started a 6 class rowing class yesterday. It's going to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 for the next three weeks. I'm going to learn the basics of how to row crew. My mom bought it for me as a birthday present. I'm pretty excited. For those outside Philly, there's the Schuylkill River which has a row of boathouses (called Boathouse Row funny enough) where a lot of colleges and other organizations row out of. The boathouse I'm taking the class from is Temple's along with others. So far we've just learned the parts of the boat (I forget if they called it something else) and the oars, how to do the stroke properly with a rowing machine which is called an erg (I'm going to trust Firefox's suggestion on the spelling for that) and how to carry the boat into and out of the water. They're pretty heavy but I'm so short that most of the time I wasn't even helping to carry it all that much.

I want to see Ocean's 13 so badly. Hopefully soon, I will.
