The SGNJ Great Adventure trip was awesome! I met some cool new people, rode 5 roller coasters, ate some spicy curly fries (my favorite kind of fry, btw) and saw lots of people dressed as zombies and scary clowns. The only sucky part was the group kept splitting up and the people I was with abandoned me and TobasElly in the bathroom.
Nitro was my favorite coaster. It didn't flip, but it was the longest. The short line didn't hurt either. TobasElly and I rode that one twice. El Toro was the craziest (being the talllest and fastest coaster in the world will probably do that) but we waited 2.5 hours in line! That sucked. The rest were okay. Not very memorable. I wish I had gotten to ride more.
We also rode the bumper cars. We were able to get the whole thing to ourselves. It was great. I had to double up with Tobas, but it was still fun. He occasionally grabbed the wheel, but he's kind of an impatient driver so I expected it.
Afterwards we went to SleepingDeath's post LSAT party. She took it yesterday and wanted to get drunk so that's what happened. Then, of course, she fell asleep. Cause that's what she does. Hehe. The rest of the group played a game of Asshole and then called it a night. I was president on the last hand so I declared myself the winner.
Monday I'm going to my mom's house to help her cook for the breaking of Yom Kippur's fast. (For the benefit of those who weren't raised Jewish, Yom Kippur is a holiday where you spend all day in the synagogue praying and thinking of all the things you did over the last year and asking forgiveness from those you have wronged. A very solemn day. So wishing someone a "Happy Yom Kippur" is not only not expected but really not appropriate. Hehe.)
