GREAT PLACE part 2
i don't think i ever posted here that the first place i found to live fell through. the owners sold the building to someone who wanted to start tearing shit up right away. we had not moved in yet so we just opted out of the deal. so i have spent every weekend and many evenings since looking for a new place. the rental market in seattle is once again very hot. there were a few heartbreaks (we were 2nd to turn in an application) but now its all worth it.
its a whole house. a really cute blue 1924 craftsman, in a neighborhood we've dubbed Queenmont. the backside of Queen Anne, 2-3 blocks from the Fremont Bridge. so all the piece and quiet of a residential area but can still walk to bars, restaurants and grocery store. how awesome is that?
as long as the credit check goes a-okay, move in will be Aug 1. just in time to throw myself a birthday party (when i will miraculously decrease in age by 10 years)
edit:
we officially got it! yay!
oh sweet baby jesus, the Fremont PCC is packed to the gills with vegan baked goods. this could be the happiest day of my life.
