"Liberty and Freedom are complex concepts. They go back to religious ideas of Free Will and are related to the Ruler Mystique implicit in absolute monarchs. Work is going well, and now that it's slowed a bit, I finally have a little time on my hands. I've been getting Wednesday nights off, so I'm once again frequenting Embers.

Between work, Embers, crazy parties, barbeques, the occasional date, and life in general, there's not much else to report. I guess that's enough.

1. What's your favorite song to do karaoke?
The only song I've ever done was You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling with three other guys (one of which can't hold a note to save his life). We were all singing to one girl; it was very Top Gun-esque.

2. What was your favorite childhood toy?
That's a toss-up between Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and Lego, but I'm gonna have to go with Lego.

3. What is your favorite summertime cooler?
Mint Julep with Jim Beam.

4. What was the first album you ever bought?
T'PAU (1987).

5. What are you listening to at this very moment?
Jean Michel Jarre -- Oxygene 1-13.
