What a beautiful day!
From where I stand on my front porch I see trees with multi-coloured leaves clinging to nearly barren branches, small birds flitting to and fro, and the occasional squirrel in search of that last nut. The best thing about today, however, has to be the weather: it's a different kind of overcast, being more of a high fog than clouds. The sun is nowhere to be seen, yet a soft light emanates all about. This is my kind of weather and today I am going to enjoy it if it kills me.
I'm thinking Portland Saturday Market, then a nice walk through Mt. Tabor Park, and maybe even Rocky Butte. If I really get adventurous, I might drive out to Multnomah Falls, or better yet Tsugawa Nursery in Woodland. Whatever I end up doing today, I am going to enjoy myself.
