Well, so much for initiative, so much for the rubber ducky and so much for luck. It is rather difficult to accomplish certain tasks and goals when so much depends on other people.
On the up side, last night I went to the creepiest old house in Portland! They have the Blair Witch basement, complete with doll's head, hole where the bodies were buried, spiders and everything! Apparently, windows are found open when they had been closed, light bulds come unscrewed, foot steps creak when no one is there, etc. It's your basic, run-o'-the-mill haunted house. I guess that's what you get for moving into a 19th century brothel!
Now if only I could get the hauntings out of my head....
