Whats up everyone? I havent been around for a few months. No real reason I guess. Christmas is....well.....Christmas. Nothing too exciting. I opted out of going to hang out with my moms side of the family this year. Less stress. Selfish of me but I always feel like theyre trying to take the place of my mom and I just cant deal with that right now. Shes dead. I know this. Leave it alone. Im fine. Stop talking to me about it. When I go over there sometimes I just want to deliver this whirlwind punch in the face, knock everyone the fuck out, and leave. And, well, thats not very much in the Christmas spirit of things so....whatever.
I didnt have a whole lot of money this year to buy a bunch of stuff for people so I decided to make things for people. I wasnt able to finish the things I made for my parents because of some shit that went down at the shop. The thing I made for my brother, I fucked up the finish on it so I have to fix it. So I pretty much feel like a total dick to everyone but they were understanding. Shit happens.
My girlfriend, Halle, and I broke up a couple weeks ago. I guess I didnt realize how much it had affected me until this past week when I had a complete breakdown and wasnt able to eat anything for 6 days. It was weird and the ending very nearly landed me in the hospital. There are a lot of things going on besides just that and I guess it just all built up and I had a melt down of sorts. But I think I am ok for now. Anyways, I made her a present as well. She likes to draw and write a lot and I noticed that her sketchbook she was using was on its last leg. So I made her one. Her favorite flower is a yellow rose so I drew one up and inlaid it on the front. There are actually about 40 different size pieces of wood that make up the flower, you have to look close to see it all. And she has bad nightmares which sometimes she wakes up and writes down so the pentagram is a symbol of protection. I cant even begin to explain the amount of time and research that went into this book.
I dont really know what to do about her. Im confused about everything.
