We had a cookout at work today. Ribs and chicken and corn on the cob and lots and lots of beer. I already said everything I had to say last week, or was it last week, I dont remember, so I didnt really have much to say. Just watched everyone else and listened. And drank. Alan and I, thats all we did really. Cooked the food and drank since about noon. The only talking I did was to jokingly poke fun at everyone and laugh and have a good time. Im done with seriousness for a while. Unless it has to do with finding a job. Im serious about that.
I think whats going to end up happenening is me finding another cabinetry / millwork type job <~~~fuck you firefox, thats how you spell willwork, and then also working at either home depot or lowes as a second job again. I did it before. It sucked but I was getting all kinds of money so, whatever. Hopefully Ill be able to get a regular shift a few nights a week and not have to work the night shift. Thats what I was doing before, working my day job from 7 to 4 and working nights from 9 to 6 four nights a week. I wish I had some experience with being a server or bartender or some shit like that though.
Anyone in the Columbus area know anyone that wants a roommate? My buddy Bob that I was in the Marines with and a few of you have met also, the plan was a year ago or so when he moved down there for me to find a job and move down there with him. Well, Ive been dragging my feet I guess and in the meantime, hes fell in love with some girl back in Dayton and I just found out a couple days ago that hes selling his condo and moving back there to get married. Sucky for me in a way but Im happy for him. Im just not sure what Ill be able to handle on my own. Thats why I want to get rid of my truck so I dont have to make a $420 a month payment. Im a good cook, I do dishes, I clean, I cut grass, I can fix almost anything and Im low maintenance. I dont know what else to do really. Ive been looking on craigslist for stuff but I jsut dont know. If you havent guessed from all that, Columbus is the place other than Cleveland that I was talking about in my last few blogs. The thing that sucks about having to go down there for just an interview or something like that is that the trip is a full tank of gas for me which isnt cheap in my truck. Plus, I have no where to stay since Bob goes back to Dayton every weekend. I guess if I asked he would let me stay there without him though.
So, if anyone wants to hang out down there, Ill be down there at some points over the next month or so
meh.....

There are some places in town that are pretty affordable. I guess it would all depend on the area you are looking at. I have a big one bedroom apartment in a nice complex in a nice suburb with pool, gym, utilities included, etc. for $650/month. When I was looking, I found 2 bedroom townhomes for around $500, but they weren't in an area that I wanted to be in as a single female.
ps - i am at the Robcave until Tuesday. If you have any interest in grabbing dinner or something, give one of us a call.
