As a Brazilian born in São Paulo, I had never been to Rio de Janeiro. But I took a national holiday to get on a bus and travel for about six hours until the city that held the last Olympic games. There, I made my way to the top of Corcovado, a notorious tourist attraction due to the worldly famous statue of Christ the Redeemer.
As you can see, the place was crowded, so that I could not be on a position to take a good pic of me in front of the Christ. But I took the photo of this beautiful landscape, which translates the essence of the city.
