Monday night, on board the LIBERTY OF THE SEAS.
I'm watching Friday Night Lights, the best movie of a few years ago. What a great fuckin sports movie with awesome performances and a fantastic fuckin soundtrack (Explosions in the Sky, Refused, Public Enemy). I love how bleached out all the outside daylight scenes are. Everything's so white and amazing.
I'm in my room with the biggest fuckin blisters you'll ever see. Omg, these things hurt.
But then this afternoon I was in Puerto Rico and Joseacardio walked my fucking feet off. After all of the abuse Joseacardio put me through walking in circles around Old San Juan, getting coffee and headphones and looking at the sights.
After a while we met up with misschief and her buddy Leo. She drove us all to a place called BEBO's and I ate some good-ass mofongo.
It was good to see these people. In the time that I've been here I haven't spoken to anyone beyond my family and some of the wait staff. It sucks to eat the meals alone, to go to the pools, shops, bars, and clubs alone. Its kind of exhausting. Especially being in a room that was meant for two-- spending every night alone.
But whatever. It's a cruise, right? Its no use crying on a cruise. I've gotten a little sun and seen some pretty beautiful shit (and girls. So many bikinis).
This vacation has come at the right time. In the last few weeks I've found myself in so much trouble at work that I almost got fired. I'm broke. My car's a piece of crap. To say that life has been shitty lately would be an understatement. I've done more spontaneous bits of crying than ever before. That stupid computer animated Barnyard Party Animals movie made me cry on Saturday morning.
I'm glad I'm here. The timing couldn't be better, even if I'm not making any money being here. I got my $600 from Bush this week, so it should help tide me over.
Here's some pictures.
Floor's record Dove is the only CD I have with me here.
