I've been here a whole goddamn month. Crazzzy, huh?
I haven't seen my parents or my friends of the last few years or even Hillary, for longer than a month.
And the thing is that I'm okay, mostly. I'm dealing. I'm working too much, but that probably helps. I'm in a beautiful city with lots to do, and that DEFINITELY helps.
Anyway, yeah. A MONTH.

p.s. I had a crazy wet vagina explosion on my way to the store today. And I was wearing gym shorts...on my scooter. And it. Was not. Funny.
In regard to your comment on my journal; I know what you're saying, and in a big retail store i would be more inclined to not trip as much. But, our stores are small, most stores have a staff of around 10 people. As managers we are given a lot of ownership over our stores, and even though the money and product isn't ours, it still effects our jobs when money and product is stolen.
For example, and i'm not sure if this info is privileged but if we are having issues in our stores with theft, whether it's customer or employee, and our inventory results come back too bad(it's based on a percentage of our sales) and we go impact, we can't transfer out of the store, move ahead in the company, cover at other stores, and it affects our yearly bonus. In addition, some of our employee privileges are revoked(game check-outs, etc.) and we have to do nearly twice as many category counts(mini inventories of various product) each week. Which we don't get extra payroll to perform.
And if it happens to be employee theft, and we have to fire someone as a result, it counts against our bonus as turn-over. So you're getting double-pwned for turnover and a bad inventory.
Not to mention it kind of fucks over your reputation anyway, and chances are, if your store does go impact, you won't be getting ahead in the company any time soon..
So yeah, it sucks, and even though it's not my store, it still effects me since it's my husbands store that it happened to.
