I'm in love with the earth and when I read about what's being done to our planet and my complicity by my sheer existence I experience this pain in my heart that feels just like heartbreak.
In the war against Nature to win is to lose everything. If we can't feel the earth suffer than what will motivate us to change?
Yesterday, was a nice day. I went to the farmer's market and got blue potatoes! (they are actually more like purple
) and then I got together with my friend Eric (I miss cuddles
, we dated for a really short time last year) but we had a nice meal and I always enjoy spending time with him. Then I went to my friend Melodie's where she was hosting her big thanksgiving dinner a week late, nobody can make homemade pumpkin pie as well as Mel
and I found someone to hitch to Cape Breton and Newfoundland with me this summer, so that's pretty sweet.
