well, seems like everybody i know's had a shitty year... too many dying young, too many broken hearts, too much loss. thinking about it, our whole society has been heading towards a bad year for a while. too much fast food, mass media invading before-sacred aspects of our lifes, people working too many hours so they can have nice cars and things...
floods, irratic weather, tsunamis, wars, genocides...
well, 2005's gonna be different for me... no resolutions, i just feel better when the days get longer. i moved to ABQ about 3 months ago, that's my new year... i was so depressed, the love of my life and i split up, i got way too into drugs, i really wanted to kill myself and nearly did...
but inorder to be reborn, you have to die... i did, a spiritual death. these past few months have been like coming out the womb, kinda traumatic, but now i can only look foward to what life has to offer, i am rediscovering myself and the freedom of living simply, i believe i'm truly healthy and wealthy because i am health conscious, i have lovely friends, work i enjoy, and it is only getting better
so, there are only so many things you can control in your life, but if you life simply, honestly, and love whole-heartedly, the things you cannot control will falll inline and we'll all have supa-dupa kick-ass 2005s!!
