Azis wrenched his arm free from the shackle and raked his claws against the other sending the metal splintering to the floor. He threw his arms wide bathing the room in holy light as he raised his head to the ceiling. A halo of fire sprang into life around his head as he shook his scaled head. Shadowed figures sprang as if from the very darkness at the edge of the light and screamed as the holy light washed over them.
Behind him Azis could hear the others struggling to free themselves but more of the shadowy figures sprang forth. He could tend to his allies once the foes had been vanquished. His jaws opened wide and he took a great inhalation of breath. He closed his eyes and uttered a silent prayer to Bahuamat and expelled his breath.
Dazzling white flames sprang from his mouth and washed over the first shadowy figures as they reached him. Screams rent the air as the searing heat of his dragonfire
