Five-Minute fiction - 14:59-15:04
They called him the Preacher-Man though Dard doubted anything he had to do was Gods work. But he acted like Gods messenger and punished those he deemed to be transgressors. Dard had crossed paths with him on a number of occasions, and the two had exchanged sharper things than words. What worried Dard wasnt the Preacher-Man himself so much, one man was one man, it was the horde of followers that seemed to be drawn to his service.
They hounded the enemies of the Preacher-Man like rabid hounds, baying and snapping at heels until the end. Twice theyd pursued him to his death, and twice hed manage to scare them off before he became their next unfortunate victim. And it seemed there was a standing order from the Preacher-Man to kill him on sight, and for Dard, that would not work.
