Five-Minute fiction - 12:19-12:24
Dard dropped to the floor and rolled away from the blow. Metal spanged off metal as the crowbar connected with the metal grating of the gantry. He winced as his shoulders were subjected to the battering pace as he rolled. He struggled to his feet only meters from his assailant and turned to face the man. He was immense, filling most of the space allowed by the cramped confines of the gantry way. He held the crowbar easily in one hand, it seeming to be nothing more than a slender pin of metal in his enormous mitt. His face was swaddled in a thick mask of worn leather, and a handmade breathing apparatus protruded from the folds about where his mouth should be. But it was his eyes that caught Dards attention. Blue-green lenses covered his eyes and they glinted in the strange light of the factory giving the man an even more ominous presence.
The man hefted the crowbar, the painted red metal chipped and battered from use. Flecks of dried blood mingled with the rusted metal giving it a horrifying presence. Dard hopped back, careful not to tread on his already injured leg
