Uhh, I think were dead, Pat said from somewhere out of sight.
What? Walter asked pulling his seat back into an upright position. Wait, where did everyone go?
Thats the problem, Pat said again.

Walter unhooked his seat belt and pushed himself into a standing position. He stepped onto the carpeted aisle of the plane and walked forward looking down each row of seats, despite the fact that they were all empty was clearly evident from his standing position.
Im in the cockpit, Pat said, and Walter couldnt help but chuckle.
What is going on?

Pat was seated at one of the two chairs in the cockpit, and in front of him stretched a huge dashboard filled to the breaking point with dials, switches, toggles (which Walter wasnt sure how they were different than switches), screens, and lights. Pats right was wrapped firmly around one of the planes joysticks
