maybe i should tell everyone about the horror party i know youre all dieing to hear!
first off, it was much easier to find than i thought, with the exception of one street i just could NOT find...but these things happen. thank goodness for cells! once i arrived i was introduced to way too many people at once, and promptly forgot names. i do remember some, just not all sorry. bad memory, honest. and then the fun began with
last house on the left : interesting flick, not so much horror id say, as dirty the very end got horroresque i suppose, with chainsaws and such interesting to see what people thought was scary before i was born
basketcase : i could not stop wanting to laugh. potato's with arms, just not what i expected. great film though, might have to pick this one up myself i cant fathom the 2 sequels that exist however...
texas chainsaw massacre : dont really need to explain this one. the only bad part of this movie is the 45 minutes of screaming by one person at the end. other than this minor flaw, this is classic horror.
in the mouth of madness : i know ive seen this before but i cant imagine when. i have no idea really. good movie though, very bizarre endings are great. about 20% through i realized i had seen it, but luckily didnt remember any of the ending
wrong turn : i love eliza dushku. did i just say that out loud? crap. i would gnaw off my right arm if she would simply walk with my the hospital to get it reattached. fun movie too though! mountain re-re's kick ass. especially horribly mutated, inbred ones.
re-animator : an unscheduled last movie for me to watch...all you other dorks were asleep! i cant believe you guys...bah. this movie is great as well. oddly enough had never seen it, though i knew the entire premise.
all in all a great evening. i had to take off before pancakes, since i was wide awake and everyone else was asleep, i decided it best to drive home and sleep in my nice comfy mattress on the floor. haha. this does need to be done again, sometime around halloween though, with lots more junkfood, a bigger venue maybe, so we can cram tons more people inside!
