This weekend was decent. I mean I look back on it and feel happy, but I know there were some parts where I was sad.
Friday
Got up and realized I didn't have milk or butter for the apple cobbler I was going to make for roxymonoxide andnonsense's Fourth of July party. As I was baking I realized I need some tools:
An apple corer
A rolling pin
A cutting board big enough to roll dough out on
I will be asking for these things for Christmas.
I had a good time hanging out with them and nementh. We watched "10,000 B.C." It was a decent movie to make fun of.
I had to work and wasn't really there long but still I had to sit around and wait for a fireworks shot. Whatever I got paid eight hours of 2.5 time.
Saturday
I had brunch with SGOC. Damn I love me some Polish kielbasa and black olive omlette. Then we saw "Wanted." I know the people who know the source material weren't too happy with it, but I totally loved it. I'm going to add it to my Christmas list.
That night I don't remember doing much of anything other than maybe a bit of cleaning.
Sunday
I went on an 11-mile bike ride with a couple coworkers. We went from the west side of the Back Bay to UCI (about five miles) then went back to Back Bay and rode around about halfway to the east side. While at UCI we stopped at Cha For Tea. God I love that place.
Side note: I've named my bike "Hopwil." If you know where I got that, you can have a cookie.
After we were done riding we sat around and shot the shat, mainly about finances. One coworker wanted me to give her cooking lessons but I couldn't pull up a quick, easy recipe off the top of my head, plus I was sort of hoping the tentative date I'd set up for that evening was going to actually happen, so I promised her I'd get some recipes together and we could start doing cooking lessons after our weekly rides (yeah the other coworker wants to make this a weekly thing, which I'm really excited about).
I got home and had a message from said date. We ended up hanging out at "The District." I've never been there before. If I didn't feel like it was just too far from work, I'd love to live near there. I'd never have to leave my area except to go to work. Oh well.
As far as the date went, let's just say I totally love watching the object of my desires dribble juice into his crotch. (And I'm not even joking. It was just hilarious to watch.)
That's it for now Gentle Readers. I seriously need to clean up my room but fawk I feel lazy.

octegon:
I liked Wanted. I just hate how I know how much better it could have been.
