Welp I went to Tuffy' Ball. I had a blast.
Friday night Morningstar and I went to Gallery 1988 for an opening of an all female show.
I fell in love with a piece called "Patience" by Krista Huot (see it here: http://g1988lovely.blogspot.com/ ). I didn't buy it because I didn't think I could afford it. I was talking to morningstar later and he said I should have put a down payment on it then paid the rest in installments. I started checking the Web site that night but it wasn't updated. It didn't update until Monday and I discovered the piece I wanted sold. Totally my fault for not having jumped on it. I'm an idiot.
But here's where I'm really upset: The "updated" site has some shit about how they'll do presale calls from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. WHAT THE FUCK?! If you're going to update your site what three days after the presale, doesn't it seem silly to post something like that?
Any way if someone ever comes across this piece (or Camilla d'Errico's "Red Riding Hood") let me know so I can buy it.

I would sell my stuff, but I don't want to have to buy new stuff later. And eventually I'll probably want a bed, and some pots to cook in, and maybe some shoes. Sigh.
