I'm happy I work with this girl. Her name is Jenn (We call her "My Friend Jenn"). I was talking to her today about RS and she's so supportive.

We also talked about Iraq and RS's brother who is there. He's having a pretty rough time (not that it's unicorns and rainbows but damn it doesn't need to be that bad). I told her I just want to go over there and fix it for him, make everything better. It lead to this conversation:

Me: "It's a good thing I never joined up, not that I was thinking of it ever, but I'd get a dishonorable discharge within a week. I'd probably yell at some higher up guy 'cause he was being an idiot and I'd know I was right."

Jenn: "Yeah, I'd put money on that."

Good to know my friends know my weaknesses/strengths.

My next step is trying to get the brother's address to send him at the very least a card, maybe signed by everyone at work, thanking him and the rest of his group. Jenn likes the idea. I just need a bit of cooperation from RS.
