So the highlight of last week was working on this:
So that's the lead in teaser to the main page:
I realize it's not big enough to read. If you really want to know, click here.
It was a serious pain in the ass, but I'm proud of it.
In other work news, I'm feeling envy toward the new girl. She keeps ending up as the lead designer on the daily product. That was my job before she was hired. It's my coworkers who treat her that way. They go to her about stuff and yesterday the managing editor zipped past my desk to tell her to come to the editorial meeting and gave her the pages (meaning she's the lead designer).
Then he walked past my desk again and told my friend to come to the meeting. And just kept going. He didn't even fucking say hi or anything to me. I was so hurt. I'd worked so hard on that stupid package for him and he didn't even tell me about the meeting.
So I smarted off and said, "Gee, -----, love you too." And he laughed and said, "Oh, yes, ---- you should come to the meeting too!"
Grrr!
My friend suggested talking to my supervisor to see if he could set up specific duties so I'm not feeling like I'm left behind to do the crappy clean up.
