I'm truly tired of dealing with morons, especially morons who think they are some how better than everyone else.
Point in case:
A guy at the restaurant insists on being a hard ass about sidework when he's responsible for checking. But if he's not responsible, he'll do everything in his power to get out of doing what he's supposed to. Tonight he pulled all the patio condiments because no one had used them, meaning he didn't need to do any filling. He left me with 13 inside tables that a) he never filled after lunch and b) that had been used all night. I ratted him out. Jack ass.
I'm also hating my former paper's alma mater. In a recent blog posting they hinted that my old paper only prepares people to wait tables, making a stab at me. Melinda, if you're reading this, sorry but they're all asshats over there. Not counting a few people (Melinda included) I haven't heard of many of them doing anything with journalism. They aren't ones to talk.
But what really burns me is I was one of their biggest supporters. I defended them against the J Dept. professors who knocked 'em, the student body leaders who call 'em trash and for what? Them to disrespect us for no reason other than we're competition. I'm not saying they should sleep with the enemy but how about realizing we're quite similar. We both work our asses off to produce a product that the student body hates. When you look at it, no one outside of our individual staff and personal supporters really fucking cares what we do or how many hours we put into it. Poor egotistical bastards. Must be lonely only getting lovin' from the right hand (except Ray who has a gorgeous girlfriend).
I'm so laughing at this dude on TV, he's trying to use a myter (sp?) saw with the safety guard still over the blade. But I've discovered I love wainscoting.
So where is everyone staying for Prom? I'm thinking the phoenix or hotel des arts. I want to get my trip settled by the end of the week.
