How appropriate for Valentine's Day...my boyfriend is pissing me off! I'm really having second thoughts about our relationship and he seems unwilling to do anything about the problems. It starts with the fact that he does not help out with any of the housework. Now I'm not looking to eat off the floor but leaving dishes in the sink until there is mold growing on them is unexceptable to me. He owns his own house and it has fallen into such disrepair that one of our friends who is a painter just quoted us $3,000 to repaint the house (the house is about the size of a small apartment, mind you). He keeps complaining that he works and he's tired and that because he's in the car so much working he has gained 30 lbs and uses this as an excuse to lay around and do pretty much nothing. Of course, he does snowblow and rake leaves when needed, and he even does vehicle repairs but is this all I'm to expect? I work full-time, am taking 5 classes at school and currently do all the housework and cooking. Yet when I confront him all he does is talk about how many hours he works. Now granted driving is tiring, I know because I also do it for a living, but COME ON!! I just can't do it anymore and I'm tired of talking to deaf ears. I don't know what to do anymore...I just want to not have to think for anybody else! I'm forever putting myself on the back burner and it's really starting to take its toll. Don't get me wrong, he is good to me in other ways like doing some of my runs at work so that I can be in school, etc. Maybe I'm asking too much but at this point I'm really unhappy. What do you all think?
