Things that may change soon: My membership is about to run out...I'm going to apply for a job with a paper in Marietta, so I may end up moving.

I saw Lemony Snickets and that movie was awful. I suppose it wasnt the worst movie ever, but it should have been a lot better.

The job hunt is depressing but all in all I'm feeling pretty good. Hopefully something will materialize pretty soon.

I am applying for a job with the Girl Scouts. It's a sweet gig, I hope I get it.

I have not updated my journal since my birthday in July, but that's okay because three people (including me) check it.

In the meantime i've quit a few jobs, one as recently as last week. So now I'm back searching. Please notify me of any good leads, wherever they are.

Let's hear it for Steve! It's his birthday today. Too bad I work til 5 and have class til 9. But after that, It's gonna be off the chain.

What happened to Joe? I'll have to talk to him in the morning. I got SG in January and everyone I met on here has disappeared except for Katie. And she moved to the UP. Brutal.

Following my self-imposed exodus from the newspaper business I'm wrapping up my last class here at Marquette and it looks like I'm going to be a mailman for the time being.

It's by far the best thing I could find that is flexible and I can do it for as long or as short as I need.

So Joe and I went out tonight trying to find some new places to hang out. He said the Landmark was cool but we were not really feeling that once we got there.

As a result tomorrow we are making it our mission to really get out and find some cool places and people. Any help would be appreciated.

Anybody else stay up to watch the finish of the Brewers/Angels game? Only went 17 innings.

And yes, the Brewers won.

In the last three days I have seen three movies.

1 - Super Size Me. This was pretty good on the whole. My only objection is that he gets a little Michael Moore-ish and psycosomatic.

2 - Hidalgo. Not only did I see this at the budget cinema, it sucked.

So I went to Leon's with my roommate tonight and when I came back I fell asleep.

Now I'm having a lame ass time since nobody is around this weekend or they went out for the night.

So my cousin's car got hit by lightning and it made the ball on his antenna pop. Guess he has to buy a new one. I didnt even know that could happen.

And three days into my job search I have made several phone calls and sent my resume out to a couple places. Aside from relaxing, that's really all I have been doing.

What I did not anticipate is picking up old relationships with my new free time. It's been really cool.
