(note to self)
From now on, when a pretty 22 year old college grad goes out of her way to flag me down and talk at a bar, i should be aware of my alcohol intake and not try to veil it with things i might think are witty and too hard to pronounce without slurring. Also, i should have some direction with what i'm saying, especially if she's obviously sober and staring at me halfway through one of my sentences with a, "yeah?...so where is this going" expression on her face. Last but not least, when neo comes strolling up after everyone else has left, DO NOT invite him to join in because it's a lot like heaving a bucket-O-water on a nice little raging fire.
(more obvious, common sense sidenotes) Have a pen and a piece of paper handy fer cryinoutloud, Paul. So when she says, "let me give you my number" you don't rummage through your pockets for 5 minutes and then just end up looking around and shrugging and forgetting that she offered it to you, continuing on, thinking you're golden. (probably the real reason she walked away, but i feel better blaming it on neo)
Lastly, in the mental note catagory: Claims of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" on blow-up doll box, not completely true. Make wiser, less "heat of the moment" purchases in the future.
