sooooo i have Polysystic Ovary Syndrome.
i've been informed that i have to get my bmi down to a really low level (about 19 or 20) or i will develop type 2 diabetes by the end of the year because one of the perks of PCOS is not being able to absorb sugar properly, and therefore i have gotten fat.
lardy, plump, chunky.
it's also affected my fertility to a certain point because my right ovary has 12 little cysts in it so can't release eggs properly. this sucks hugely because i really want some babies right now!
i've had scans, exams and blood tests done, i've got my first proper hospital consultation on saturday to figure out where we go from here, but i've been put on a very drastic but nutritionally sound diet so i can lose a bunch of weight super quickly so i don't get diabetes.
i'm working all the hours at work at the moment, and it's driving me mental because i'm only on a part time contract, but doing full time hours.
i've had my hair cut super duper short, and srtill cant decide if i love it or if i feel like a boy...
so thats me...
mums bones are healing as well as can be expected after breaking 2 vertibrae and 5 ribs, she's already been back on a horse, so obviously she's not feeling that bad.
anyone else had any experience with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome? i'd like to hear good and bad stories please, information is power after all.
love x x

Yeah I've been wanting to know what's wrong for ages =\ I've never really been told but I said I had had enough and needed to know. It's better than dealing with periods and then appearing when they want. And thanks xxx
