I'm tired, kids...
I have a dilemma. It is centered on the root of all evil. Currently, thanks to my insurance company totaling out my car and the kind folks at the IRS, I have just shy of $5,000 in the bank. Yay, me...
Here's the shitty part. I need two things.
A) To save as much of that money as possible.
B) Buy some form of reliable transportation.
It seems as though it can only be one or the other. That's a bummer because............................................
My girlfriend and I have decided to move to Portland--by the end of the summer. We settled on a number that we would have to save to make the move and secure some sort of dog friendly rental house. We figure that if we each can save about $3,500-$4,000 each, we'll have what we need to make it happen. She has the ability to save that in the next few months... I don't. My job is shit... it pays shit... there's no way in hell I would be able to save any of that coin without a payout from Uncle Sam and State Farm. But dammit... I need a car--otherwise, my current job isn't going to last.
How to make this work? There must be a solution... somehow... cheap transport...
No way out.
I'm hosed.
