I need to give myself a little more time before I make an absolute decision, but I think it's better off for everyone involved if I walk away from the band. I need a project that I can sink my teeth into, heart & soul... and they need someone who is into the music that is being made. It didn't start off this way. The idea of all of us coming together to create a new sound was being preached a lot in the beginning. As it turns out, things just sound like Wilco and Uncle Tupelo right now with no signs of changing anytime soon. It's a far cry from the music I'm comfortable with and enjoy playing. This situation bores me. The songs bore me. The process bores me.

It sounds like you ordered the moon and got delivered cheese on this one. Time to move on to projects that feed you in better ways. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
