The last three days have been rough, but now that gig is over. I feel much better having made it to the bar for last call before going to bed and sleeping till noon. Gigs at the CCC pay so much more than the Fillmore, but that place seems to suck the soul right out of me.
The past few days have been heavy on my mind. Ever get the feeling that you are putting of a life chaging choice because you don't want your life to change? But you do? And you don't?
I seem to have reached somewhat of a peak in my carear in Denver. In fact, The last three years, I made most of my money out of town. The next step to advance would meaning moving to another city like Vegas, LA or Nashville, a city that has larger production companies. Denver has a lot going on but no one is sending world tours out of Denver.
I feel like I am torn between moving forward with work and staying comfortable in the spot I have created in Denver ( senority at theatres, respected and well known in the professional community ) that I would have to start building all over again in a new town.
Then there's the issue of leaving my people.
I can not put into words how much my friends have enriched my life this past year. It's difficult for me to grasp the reality that these people love me so much. I was utterly alone in this world for so long and now I have a family. This is what make the choice to move so tough.
I better go or I will blather on and on.

Sounds like a tough decision.. but I am sure Denver will miss you if you choose to leave.
