Perhaps I was more drunk then I thought, I must have been as I was politely reminded by my friend that the aforementioned young lady I met at his wedding had a long term boyfriend and she was definatley still with him.
So either everything she told me was a exaggeration or as far as a full out lie based off bad feelings at the time or my friend doesn't want to get involved for whatever reason.
I feel really stupid now with regards to my friend and worse still I feel like I've missed yet another chance to be with someone who was truly amazing to me.
I haven't met anyone in the 3 weeks since that has even grabbed my attention.
Sticking with the "stupid things said to a lady whilst drunk" theme, I think I offended Kate.
Sorry
Fortunately for my psyche, this is where the months misfortunes thus far come to a glorious end.
I went to London for the weekend to see a large group of my friends for the birthday of my friend from Scottland, we went spent many an hour in the Namco station on Londons Southbank which is an excellent place. Get a large group of friends and go on the bumper cars together, it is amazingly violent, fast fun.
Many drinks were also involved, which is always good.
But highlight of the month if not the year has to be this.
Completely out of the blue (the best things in life are rarely known in advance in my expierience) a girl from work that I have become fairly good friends with asked me to move into a flat with her closer to the office.
This has more advantages for me then I can type right now but the best ones are that it means I won;t have to get up so early in the morning and I won't have to drive everyday either. Furthermore it means I will be so much closer to my new friends and their local pubs.
Best of all though is that I can get out of my parents home semi permently which is great as living here has been starting to get to me this past half a year or so.
It's not going to happen for another month or so and I will be cut off from my precious internet (sacrifices must be made ) but I am allready looking forward to this with much, much enthusiasm.
It is exactly what I needed, when I needed it the most.
Finally, this was my breif London shopping trip highlight of the weekend. The cutest armour plated killing machine ever.
