I started playing Pool a couple of months ago as I'd never really been outgoing enough to spend a lot of time in pubs before.
But I'm glad I've changed because I really enjoy just hanging out by the table on a friday after work with my friends and I'm even starting to get ok at the game.
I just wish I had enough room/money for a table at home, that'd rock.
In other news, we finally got our new centeral heating system online after nearly two and a half months in a house that felt like an icebox. We enjoyed the feeling of every radiator in the place switching on and gradually filling our house with glourious heat.
My normally conservative parents let us switch every one up to maximum and we were sweltering by a half hour later.
It went from eskimos freezer to center of the earth and it was great.
And then it broke the very next day...
Furious doesn't even begin to cover it and now we have to keep it switched off for most of the day because all of the fancy sensors that the boiler uses to regulate itself are down and if it's left on it'll overheat.
I also have car insurance to look forward to next month.
But it's not all bad, the Japanese can always be relied on to chear me up with yet another marvel of model engineering,
Nice!, now if only could afford it.
