Yesterday went from very good to just alright.
First, went to Khryp's and we had a romantic little brunch at Cafe Intermezzo. Then we spent the whole day shopping.
At overpriced boutiques when I could ha ve found the same stuff at Marietta and had better service. Uh huh.
And I dunno what it was about the weather, but I was super quiet. I always shop alone, so maybe that was part of it.
God I love that muffin!
Anywho, so I was driving home in AWFUL traffic. I get to campus and find out... we're turning something in today.
Something I haven't done.
Something I have 20 minutes to do.
Thank god for Taco. He bailed my ass out. So I'm in the science building waiting for him... and the power goes out. Stays out for like 2 minutes until the emergency power comes on (just every third light, that's it).
Taco finally comes up to see me and... he had almost gotten stuck in the elevator when the power was out!
I ALMOST KILLED TACO!
Jesus... but anyway, we turned in our stuff, teacher took roll, and cancled class. Somehow my slow little brain thinks that even though there's a CAMPUS WIDE POWER OUTAGE and that streetlights all around Kennesaw are out, I'm going to be safe to walk to my car with my laptop (not the case, just the comp).
Two steps outside under Taco's umbrella, and I cry and run back inside.
Eventually it calmd down, but I didn't feel safe driving home myself, so I went to Waffle House with Taco, Angie-Chan, and Sam. We stayed there for like two hours.
