Oh why does it seem that as soon as things start to get better they get worse?

I managed to sell the old subs I had in the trunk of my car for a couple of hundred bucks. I think yes this will be my answer to dealing with how my check ended up short for my bills. Uhh no not gonna happen.

The dude I am sold them to today tells me his check was short as well and now I have to wait for my money. On top of that our house power bill was almost $300 so now I have to figure out where to come with my part of that as well.

I also found out that one of my managers at work has been tanking my schedule for hours becase "my attitude has sucked" . What makes it worse is the fact that the manager that has been doing it is the front of the house manager. HE HAS NO BUSINESS DOING ANYTHING TO FIX SHIT WITH THE KITCHEN STAFF! The only thing he has to worry about is if we are doing the shit he needs done to keep selling food out front.

And today I have to go to my parents house on one of my two days off this week to fix stuff around their house and move the rest of my stuff somewhere because my brother and his girlfriend are moving in with them. I feel so bad for my parents, it is like as soon as one of us leaves the other has to come back.

Apparently I need to find another job, just don't know how or where yet.

The other up side of things is that a friend of mine from work who was a proffessional photography in New Orleans has invited me to help him on a shoot with some video work. His work is very hard core and very fetish so this should be interesting. I think he also wants some of my help with photoshop work on some of his newer images as well. I don't think I will ever make any money from it but it should be fun and get me some more experience. I am also hoping that he will introduce me to some of the models he uses so that possibly I can find free models for life drawing.

See as I said life goes in ups and downs. I just want off this roller coaster.

My Mom also tells me that I need to call my grandmother. I hope her health isn't changing again.

money sucks.... I just made up a budget on the weekend... and realised that my expenses... (not including food and beer) and about $50 less than my income.

no wonder my credit cards fill up so fast....

good luck with the artistry stuff... I jealous... more for the having an oportunity to follow your interests than for teh nakedness but... tongue

i think things seem to get worse as soon as you think they start getting better because... (deep breath)... in my findings, it seems like we've been down in the dumps so long that we can't bail ourselves out anymore. So when things start to go right, we look at it with a negative outlook. Then eventually, we start realizing (partially) that things are going ok. But before you know it, that depression, the ugly two faced son of a bitch that lives in your mind, creeps up and starts whispering the negativity back into you ears. It wants to keep you down and out, thats when it thrives. So it tries to make you think that all the good is "too good to be true". You start looking for negativity in the good, and that's when you know it has a chokehold on you. You've just got to tell it to shut the fuck up. Constantly. It's a tricky bastard.
