I think the front lip will look fine when you get it painted.

It was thunderstormy in Tucson, but it didn't really matter we mainly went down to drink with some friends.

Hey Jim,

hope all is good. I replied to you last comment a while ago, but it was one of those times where you type and type then submit and it doesn't work. Planning on bailing from here in a week or two. Seem to be on myspace more. You got a page on there?

I think Uplan may be my favorite place to ride. I need to get back out there soon.

My jobs are silly. I work for a specialty food brokerage as a unit manager. Meaning I'm in charge of making sure all our retail people are out in the grocery stores doing what they are supposed to do. Which is checking on the products we rep. & doing resets in the stores. It leaves me time to do a lot of nothing. The cool part is they have given me a gas card, so I don't pay for gas and I get a car allowence on top of my salary so my car payment comes in at $21 a month.

My other job is for Buena Vista Home Entertainment. I go out to they same grocery stores I'd be checking anyway to make sure they put out the new DVD releases where they are supposed to. I keep the second job to feed my VW addiction.

I've seen the pictures of Tom's car. Very nice. He's done some stuff to make that thing smoke.

If you feel like coming out and need a place to stay, let me know. My house has lots of room.

Skated Palm Springs with Grosso and his stupid wheels.... It was fun. He actually liked them. I rolled it for a second. They work...
thrasher:
I haven't riden there yet.

So he liked them, that's funny. Wish I could have seen it.

Pics of Grosso yes please.

I heard from a guy that builds engines today that the whole "breaking in" thing is a myth. After you do the first oil change you should be good to go as long as you're not going nuts, over reving and stuff. I'm not sure I buy it, but that's what I over heard him telling a guy with a 1971 Plymouth GTX. He said that if the engine is built right and everything is machined correctlty it should be just after 70 miles the same as if you'd babyed it for 500.

but better safe then sorry?
thrasher:
totally, I just over heard the whole thing today. Just thought I'd share, I'd never heard anyone even suggest that before.
