Well, last night was fun as was today. Yesterday after dinner I went round my best friend's house to stay the night as he lives in the centre and I had to get to work for six this morning. We stayed up all night talking, as usual, having a good old catch up and gossip as only me and Adam do best. I've decided pear cider rocks as it tastes like the green hubba bubba when you burp, which just makes it totally worth my while. Of course there was the watching of numerous Jay and Silent Bob films which we put in the background over our talking because we've simply watched them so often that we know what's coming next and can dip in and out of whatever the hell the characters are on about and still find it funny.
Adam, gentlemen as he is, walked me to work at half past five in the morning. The centre is so weird when it's dead quiet as is Debenhams which is where my Game is based. It was completely silent and completely black as the lights went on, coupled by hideous GWR radio that was so loud it made my head hurt at half past six. I'm used to just seeing the place bustling or at least generally with one or two people, lets be honest, it is Debenhams, out on our floor and having no one there was just odd.
Luke is very annoying at an early hour of the morning. Simply because his virgin smarminess can get a bit stupid when he's the only one who got sleep last night and actually had his head screwed on properly. Kit had gone out drinking with his family and was therefore as usual hung over and Matt had decided to stay up all night playing Rock Band. So the reason we were all up for work at this insane hour was because of stock take so we had James in who was giving us these odd bleepy things that look like an original nokia they're so big and crappy and then we had to go around scanning everything in store. Me and Kit being the competitive people that we are made a competition out of it, unfortunately he won the bar of chocolate for scanning the most but I'm sure my scanner was against me!
Our store sold the most Wii's last month, which is unbelievable, so head office are giving each of us a Mario Kart for Wii as incentives. This would be great but I don't have a Wii and Matt already got given a Mario Kart for his birthday, and I don't plan on getting a Wii as they irritate me, so I will probs sell it for fifty quid on amazon. Next month if we sell the most Wii accessories we get the New Super Smash Bros as well because we apparently work for the best employer in the UK.
Travelodge, as an internet company are amazing! I've used them for years but screwed up with a booking on the internet getting a one room for one adult rather than a double room for two when me and Casey stay in London. So I had to cancel it even though it was a saver room meaning that I lost 49 and they were lovely enough to give me an evoucher for the money I'd wasted on the cancelled room as it was non-refundable so that I could book the room that I actually wanted which was a double for two. These kind of things from company's make me happy, when they go out of their way to make the customer happy as I sadly enough live for customer service and marketing in my job.
