I found this blog in the middle of the list and I couldn't resist it, because I'm addicted to watching movies, I love watching and rewatching these movies, this is the type of blog that is right for me 😂
There are five movies that I idolize wholeheartedly and for sure these would be my best company on a desert island, because even when I'm alone, I feel good when I watch them 🖤
Oldboy: This is my favorite movie since 2003, when I watched it for the first time. I was a teenager and I was TOTALLY SHOCKED by the Plot twist, I had never seen such an ingenious villain. This Korean movie sparked my passion for the seventh art. Chan wook park is even my favorite director !!
Split: Shyamalan is very creative and he always leaves a special mark in his movies, but for sure Split is one of the most talked about. In Split I fell in love with Kevin Wendell Crumb and all his personalities, it is impossible not to be amazed by the incredible performance of James McAvoy.
The Witch: This movie has the perfect dark atmosphere that captures you in a unique way. The setting and simplicity of The Witch fascinates me. Everything is so desperate in an agonizing way; and Thomasin is an excellent protagonist.
Hereditary: The first time I watched Hereditary I just felt confused and marveled at the tension of the scenes, but after rewatching it, I realized that it went much further than that. I understood Paimon and his purpose, so it was impossible not to fall in love.
Joker: Now I'm talking about the movie that I've memorized all the lines and the villain that always inhabit my mind. Arthur Fleck is much more than just "Joker" in this movie, he is an ordinary man in need of help, and everything about him comes close to us, making him a very human character. This movie is a true work of art and I would take it to a desert island as my most precious treasure.
