And thus, the great run of shows '04 has come to a close. Goddamn I'm tired.
I'm not sure if some of you were mislead by my Easter post, but that didn't happen to me. That was a quote from a VERY strange anime called "Colorful". No humping bunnies near me!
So, other than all the shows that just passed, nothing of great import to report. I got pretty drunk at the Who Tribute show...Easter didn't hold any surprises...and the ill-fated Grand Revenge Plan almost never came to fruition (yet still didn't follow through like planned! )
I'm going to the Phillies game this Friday night - first time at the new park! (Front row, left field!)
My friend and I just got tickets today to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Kimmel Center next month. A bit pricey, but c'mon, it's Seinfeld. My friend practically lives and breathes by what this man says! All this in the same month that we also get to see Bill Cosby!
By the end of May, I will have seen all of the following comedians at some point in my life:
George Carlin
Eddie Izzard
Jerry Seinfeld
Bill Cosby
Jay Mohr
Jimmy Fallon
Jon Stewart
Dave Atell
Lewis Black
Mitch Hedburg
Colin Quinn
and if you want to count him (and I do, cause it was damn funny!) Kevin Smith.
I think the only guys I want to see now are Dave Chapelle and Robin Williams. Maybe Howie Mandel too. ( I used to love him when I was younger.)
