First time doing this so I am not real sure what I’m doing 😂. I just wanted to tell a bit about myself. I’m 41 and live in Georgia where I was born. I am very shy and have major social anxiety and I’m socially awkward . The last four years have been absolute hell on me health wise. I have had a foot ulcer that required hospitalization during which I was given antibiotics that shut my kidneys down. This resulted in a minor foot surgery to be belayed while I went through dialysis. Thank God my kidneys recovered but the delay in doing the foot procedure resulted in a partial amputation of my foot. A condition called hidradenitis suppurativa(HS) has resulted in over 10 surgeries throughout my body.
Throughout all of this I have lost friends because I was no longer the life of the party. I have to use a wheelchair to get around most of the time. I have an amazing wife who helps me and has stood by my side throughout it all. I am so thankful to have my best friend as my wife. I’m here to be part of the SG community and make friends when I can. My days are pretty boring and lonely so I’m hoping to learn how this community works and enjoy it.
