Well....
Took a 600 mile driving trip to see an attorney regarding an estate, of which I am unfortunately the Administrator. $130/hr. I'm apparently in the wrong business. Talked to the attorney for 1.5 hours and spent $195.
My CD player is broken which has not been an annoyance on short trips in town, but on a long trip, wow. There is an amazing shortage of good radio stations! There was only one around Charlottesville that I enjoyed.
Blew a tire on the interstate. Big Time. Shredded. The tire place that I bought the tires from put them on so tight that I stripped a lug nut and ruined my lug wrench (its stripped too). The State Trooper that stopped to help stripped his lug wrench (same cheap kind as mine). We called a wrecker and he had a four way. Four hands and a boot later we got them all off.
Remarkedly, I'm ok about the whole trip. Pretty good spirits.
Got home late. After my wife who had locked herself out of the house. I was supposed to get home before her but spent a couple of hours on the road trying to change my flat.
My wife was trying to take the hinges off the basement door when I got home. Had two off which is impressive with no tools. My wife has a bit of a temper though....she got frustrated and punched a couple of holes in the wall because she could not get inside. When I got home, she was slinging things around the garage.
She is cute when she's mad (as long as she is not mad at me!).
Ah, love.....
