Bleh....I may have to admit to overtraining and perhaps an improper diet to succumbing to what may possibly be a strain of influenza.
I seem to get sick more in the summer than during the winter. If I get the flu in the winter, it usually occurs after most other people have already had their bout. Maybe they give me the nasty, antiboitic resistant strain. I love how the flu starts out minor and then one morning or at some point your body feels like it was run over by a semi truck on Bushwick Avenue; the truck will back up over you to make sure it was something in the road and not a problem with the tires, then runs over you again. Needless to say, I feel like crap. I hate taking medicine also...but I always debate if it is healthier to see a doctor and have medication prescribed, or to let my immune system do its job and allow the infection to run its course.....
